Eva Russell, MSN-Ed, RN, CWS,CHPN,CLNC
- Eva works with attorneys as a certified legal nurse consultant for plaintiffs, when negligence or malpractice has unfortunately occurred, and for the defense, to support and defend healthcare providers and facilities that have maintained standards of care.
- Eva is a board certified Wound Care Specialist, board certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse, and certified Legal Nurse Consultant. She is clinically active as a wound care consultant, director of the Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice Institute for Education & Research, and educator to hospitals, long term care, skilled care, assisted living and homecare providers.
- Eva received her Master's of Science in Nursing Education from Walden University. Bachelor's of Science in Health Service Management from LaSalle University and her RN, Associates in Applied Sciences Degree from the County College of Morris.
Christen Russell, PhD, BCBA-D
- Christen works with attorneys as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral. She conducts independent evaluations to determine if best-practices in behavior analysis were maintained. Christen's agency is an Approved Continuing Education provider through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board ®. She is clinically active as a consultant and trainer for schools, parents and organizations.
- Christen has her PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College in Massachusetts. Christen has a comprehensive understanding of procedures throughout the lifespan, for people with developmental and functional delays and Autism. Christen has been working in the field for over 20 years.
Julie Ferwerda, BSN, BA, RN, CEN, GRN, LNC
- Julie works as a legal nurse consultant performing case merit reviews, medical record summaries and expert reports, chronologies and timelines, trial and deposition preparation, and expert fact witness on nursing standards of care.
- She is a board-certified emergency nurse with diverse experience in emergency medicine, hospice/end of life, critical care hospital float nursing (all inpatient floors), and live-in nursing management for adults with complex disabilities. She was an evidence-based research champion at Kootenai Health, a Mayo-affiliated Magnet hospital, where she also received the Daisy Award for engaged, compassionate advocacy and care for patients.
- Julie received a double bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming in nursing and social science, where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
